Houses we've looked at (#4 & #5)

HOUSE 4 - "Elder Mill Grandma"
Cute exterior but fewer acres than we'd want. Two master suites on the first floor, but the other bedrooms would be downstairs in the basement. It was a nice walk-out basement so it wouldn't be scary... except for the exterior access part (which would be nice in case of a fire but what about rebellious kids or dangerous strangers? I think I want them above us with roof access. I know - watch the 1980s movies from our childhoods (including Pollyanna) and they can still escape from there but at least they'd have to work harder at it. Maybe we should put an alarm on the windows. But then William would figure out how to disarm it. It's hard to stay one step ahead of them!

KITCHEN

LOOOOOVED the back deck/balcony

The huge basement

The huge office/storage room in the basement

The second kitchen in the basement (who doesn't need one of those? Two stoves on Thanksgiving.... and then you wouldn't need it for another 364 days...)

HOUSE 5 - "Greene Ferry"
On 5 acres, so too small. Included a nice small barn. The inside was neat as a pin, shiny and new looking. Owned by an engineer so had all the cool systems-features that Bob would like.

Pretty kitchen (the island was a bit small though, if I can be picky)

Master Bath

Master shower with closets on either side

Cool office space in the attic

Large basement with a huge workshop (not pictured)
